So my precious telenovelas (Desire and Fashion House) ended last night, and there was weeping and misery in the land (but not really, since more of the same is following close behind). Things went pretty much as I’d expected they would, although I got a little nervous at the end of Fashion House that my week-old claim that Maria Gianni faked her death would turn out to be false. Fortunately, my instincts are still impeccable, and the last five minutes proved my theory correct.
