Rosemary and Thyme
TV Review
May 25, 2006

A pair of crime-solving female gardeners is certainly a novel idea, but unfortunately it’s not as interesting as as it sounds—like most “themed” series, the charm lies merely in the concept, not in the execution. Remove the flora, and it’s just another chain of loosely-strung mysteries with too many characters and too little sense. Less boring than watching grass grow, but not as interesting as weeding your vegetable patch.
