Rosemary and Thyme:

Two middle-aged gardeners keep stumbling across crime. And weeds.
Reviewed May 25, 2006
A pair of crime-solving female gardeners is certainly a novel idea, but unfortunately it’s not as interesting as as it sounds — like most “themed” series, the charm lies merely in the concept, not in the execution. Remove the flora, and it’s just another daisy chain of loosely-strung mysteries with too many characters and too little sense. Less boring than watching grass grow, but not as interesting as weeding your vegetable patch.
